World Mental Health Day - 10th of October
Yesterday’s World Mental Health Day reminded us that mental health is not just a personal concern — it’s a strategic business and policy priority.
Earlier this week in Geneva, the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the European Academy of Occupational Health Psychology (EAOHP) convened global experts to discuss how mental health can be embedded into the future of work through evidence-based policy and international collaboration.
Yolanda Díaz, Spain’s Minister of Labour and Social Economy, underscored how labour reforms — reducing precarious work, improving protections for platform workers, and advancing decent work — directly support mental health and wellbeing:
“No hay nada que propicie más daño en la salud mental que alguien que vive de forma precaria.”
(“There is nothing that causes more harm to mental health than someone living precariously.”)
At HealthNEXT we see psychosocial risk management and clinical governance as integral to ESG performance, helping organisations build measurable cultures of health that enhance resilience, engagement, and sustainability across their workforce.
Proud to share these insights through Brokerslink , as global partners work together to align risk management, policy, and wellbeing in the future of work.ors alike.
